I'm pretty sure you need to have all the settings on high in order to run the map.

•• Can I do this for single player?
Yes, just load a single player map and use the same commands you use in the local server.
•• I type demo.recorddemomovie1 but I get an error?
Make sure that you put a space before movie1 so that It looks like demo.recorddemo movie1. And this can't be done on a multiplayer server.
•• Can I do this on a multiplayer server?
If the server has Battlerecorder disabled, then no. If yes, then you can download the battlerecorder files which battledirector would use, after you played a round, go to the community tab, and battlerecorder, see if there is any files available to download, if not then thats the servers problem. Make sure in the server list, the battlerecorder box is enabled to filter it!
•• How come my Fraps record for 30 seconds?

1) What program did you use to record this tutorial?
2) i downloaded some mods the other day and i also downloaded a map pack of 19 maps. It took a good 5 hours to download, After, it told me to extract it, I did that. The point is i cannot find any of my maps, or mods on bf2. And i have tried everything! Please do you know whats up? *Oh and when i downloaded the green and black maps they dont show up either*
It helps me now makings some funny movies ^^
