I have heard many reports from experts on the Nazi's base in Antarctica during WWII for secret tests on aircraft among other things. There have also been rumours of an underwater test sight in Antractica though but there is no solid proof of this. The Nazi's were very creative and had immense plans for world domination.

I think you give the Nazis way to much credit. There's nothing they had that the world hasn't already uncovered. Admittedly, I find this storyline interesting as some type of Hollywood action/adventure film; sort of like something Indiana Jones would get mixed up in. Work it into a screen play! The Germans may have had a weather research station in Antarctica, like they did in Greenland. However, flying saucers.... that's way to much of a stretch even for the most evil of Nazi scientists.

I will go you one better..... This coming February, I may be joining a team that is doing a project for the National Science Foundation in Antarctica. If I get this assignment, this will put me in Antarctica for 6 months. I'm not sure which station I would be assigned, whether it would be along the coast or at the South Pole. But I'll be sure to raise this question. Oh yeah, be sure to watch John Carpenter's "The THING", 1980 release starring Kurt Russell. Great Antarctic Sci-fi thriller!

His pants were missing and he was walking about half naked. Then a large flying object flew over head.
