Here is a small selection them, including the Bachem BA-349 'Natter' vertical take off rocket plane, the suicical Fi-103 R manned V1, the rocket interceptor ME-163, and the revolutionary ME-262 and HE-162 fighter jets.

and Putin's not a hypocrite, and saddam hussein was the man in the white hat! it's amazing, the things we remember and the things we forget. WWII was a collaborative effort; Yanks, Brits, Free French, Russians, Slavs, etc. all fighting the Third Reich. pointing fingers now does no good, but it does fracture our nations and leave the field open for a calculating aggressor like Putin to step in and fill the vacuum.

Many of these projects were sloppy and rushed. The He-162 is the perfect example of everything that was both right and wrong with German aeornautical engineering during the war. While it was easy to build, fast and could be fixed in the field, it was poor in turns, had a long takeoff and was difficult to fly for the teenage boys piloting them. Almost every mechanical flaw could have been worked out with more design and test time but nothing would have fixed the pilot problem.
