Just look up a tab and play it in standard. If you need to, tune down to learn the song, then you can just play it the same when you tune back up.
If you want to keep the same pitches, for this, you'll really need to tune down, because it's in Eb, and there's a lot of open notes and unless you have a 7-string you can't really do it, and even that would be ridiculous.

I dont like comparing guitarist, because they pley differently. But in this case, with SRV and Hendrix' similar styles i'd say that they both do an awesome version of the song and that i wouldnt wanna choose. Stevie Ray Vaughan = Hendrix

This is pretty awesome but for some reason Hendrix is just untouchable with his renditions. I don't think that anyone can sound quite like him, really. Others, like Stevie Ray Vaughn, can seem to come sort of close, but never catching. Maybe it's just my bias talking (I just reckon Jimi's the greatest ever) but I feel that Hendrix was in another dimension when he played, virtually unaswerable to. Even though he should be. Probably just my bias...

No, it's actually "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)". "Voodoo Child" was actually a separate song also done by Hendrix, with pretty much the same lyrics but a completely different beat and feel.

I don't find SRV as exciting as Hendrix, I also think that Hendrix is the better player. I also think that Mitch Mitchell owns this drummer, who is really boring.

The main difference between the two is that Hendrix's playing varied greatly depending on his level of intoxication. He rarely played the same song the same way. This was especially true of live performances. In my opinion, Hendrix's value was as an innovator and as a song writer. SRV was capable of consistent perfection, note for note.
