Give me a fucking break, stop wasting food and water on what is basically a dead person. Those parents were just greedy and kept clinging on to a lost cause. If I were ever put in a similar situation, I'd want to be killed immediately so they could put my organs to fair use. Selfish, self absorbed people living in a fairy tale world looking to put a stop to nature's course. Let them die with a bit of dignity.

Probably the only time I will agree with Lieberman - Terri's life was not for the Judge to or not. I think when Terri's Parents took the hardline with her 'husband' the pawn in the battle became terri. So very sad that we starve humans in the US -per order of the court. SICK.

By the time the feeding tube was removed, Terri Schiavo was already dead. Her mind was gone. All that was left was a shell, a lump of matter. They were feeding a corpse.

This may be true - I dont know. What I do know is that when in doubt - lean toward the benefit of the doubt. I find it particularly cruel to have removed a feeding tube from a questionable circumstance ( my opinion)- especially when our military is force-feeding an alleged "enemy combatant" in an attempt to stop him from taking his own life in order to inflict control and ultimately more torture.
