I dont know if you noticed but rosscalverley is also from new zealand. I suspect to him classical means opera. But he is unable to show us how it should be done in his opinion. The opera community in nz cant accept the popularity of Hayley.

I'm only one person and I live in the cultural centre of Alexandra (I'm being slightly sarcastic :D). Alexandra does have a reputation for good singers... Hang on, I do have a recording of me singing Shenandoah... Anyway, I'm not the opera community, there are no operas in my town... Classical doesn't mean Opera to me, I was using Classical in the unlearned sense I guess.

You clearly have no idea what we are talking about... Grade 8 is one step down from your 'letters' which is a internationally recognised degree.
The best way to piss off a Kiwi is to suggest that one of their taonga (treasures) is Austrailan. Here I am talking about the vowels that you sing on... And saying that Hayley's vowels are not what one would expect of such a famous performer.
