The Fox News obituary of Kurt Vonnegut airing the day after his death seemed particularly harsh to me, but I may be especially sensitive because I'm a big Vonnegut fan. I've uploaded some clips from the Fox News obituary for you to see and decide for yourself.

2. "Macro-evolution" isn't even a scientific term, it's a stupid term made by creationists attempting to distinguish long-term evolution from short-term, irrefutable evolution. Ever had a vaccine? Evolution. If you admit that small scale evolution is possible, and that we DO indeed have modern medicine, than you have already admitted that "macro-evolution" is true.
4. Evolution is the subject of THOUSANDS of peer reviewed papers, and every part of it has been examined and put under the microscope numerous times. If it is false, it must be a giant conspiracy.
This claim would seem plausible... if you at least knew what the word "evolution" means or at least understood some of it's mechanisms, but clearly it's a lie from how retardedly bias against actual learning you really are.
Also, your claim on Darwin is two bullshit arguments lumped together. Darwin didn't say that, and the person who DID say that was a man with a show, which happened after Darwin.
In Latin Homo means human.
In Greek Homo means same.
Homograph, Homonym, Homophone - meaning same spelling/same sounding(I'm sure you learned in school)
Homosapien,Homohabilis - homo meaning Human, and whatever the suffix means.
So please don't try to pervese that homosexual is a subspecies of homosapiens because their prefixes are spelled the same way(Pun intended)

The reason why scientists won't(I'm not going to say admit)aren't convinced that there is a God, is because there is not enough physical or logical enough explaination to prove that there is one.
If a God is suppose to be perfect, or all powerful, all knowing, and all good. Then by definition alone it would have to be dismissed.
You can be an agnostic and still believe in Evolution.
You can believe in God, and still believe in Evolution. There is no conflict there.
However, being a Christian, and believing in Evolution. There IS a conflict there.
And you're also wrong in thinking that the USA has become Godless.
1) Only slightly over 10% of Americans are Atheist or Agnostic.
2) What's wrong with being Godless? Nothing!

God however is a philisophical debate. If you're the type of person that believes in the type of God that created everything in one shot, then of course you'd have a problem with evolution.

But let's be real. Not everyone consideres him a "great american writer" and no matter what Fox News said about him, KV was a beat writer. He wrote from the outside, looking in.
I wouldn't Fox News to bend to the left. They don't do that. But they took the time to mention him. In terms of Fox News, that shows respect. And Fox News will definitely have more of an impact this century. They're not going anywhere.
