Very powerful, and ... ( 6 months ago by RusWehrmacht)
Very powerful, and one of the best, top 10 rifles. Most other bolt action turn bolts are mainly practicaly copies or at least based on Mauser 98k, especialy in bolt and bolt system.

totally agree with you. but you know what is very funny???at first i thought that the M1 Garand didnt have a bolt and it was a automatic rifle just like the BAR.But then again i took a closer look and saw the bolt. But this may sound stupid and rediciolus...but in Call of Duty...i dont see the guy going for the bolt on the M1 Garand
Number 1 call of ... ( 6 months ago by RusWehrmacht)
Number 1 call of duty seriers are just video games very accurate oes but not real life. Number 2 im getting a bit worried here as even a person who deosnt know his guns very well knows M1 Garand is a semi-automatic rifle, which uses a gas operating system with rotary bolt locking.
And BAR M1918 is a ... ( 6 months ago by RusWehrmacht)
And BAR M1918 is a strange weapon of no fitting into either a ' military' self-loading rifle or a machine gun, but its more of a machine gun to be honest as its used as a swuad automatic weapon in some platoons. While being a good design (good old Mosses Browining) IT WAS NOT SUCCEFUL FOR ITS PURPOSES bign LMG ( lACK OF QUICK INTERCHANGEBLE BARRELS PLUS LOW AMMO CPAPACITY, AS ITS EXEPTS ONLY 20 ROUND DETACHABLE MAGAZINE BOXES) OR AN AUTOMATIC RIFLE (to heavy to manuvre, and very bulky)

hmm i didnt know that. but ive seen the Battle of the Bulge documentary on history channel and one american soldier had a M1 Grand and every time he shot he slid his arm to pull the bolt, the vid is evenhere on youtube...but anyway thanks for the info :D oh and you know which rifles i like too??Mossin Naggat and M1 Carbine
Very bulky and ... ( 6 months ago by RusWehrmacht)
Very bulky and heavy to be fired from solder or hip that is, and pardon my spelling.
Nope if he pulled ... ( 6 months ago by RusWehrmacht)
Nope if he pulled back the 'bolt ' (its actualy serves as chargin handle), he would kept on coking that weapon, no point for that, can casue problems. Maybe you have mistaken it for something else like the bolt action turn bolt Spriengfiel M1903 (even that legend is based on mauser in Terms of bolt and bolt system, which is sligthly refined and improved)
Yes the trusty ... ( 6 months ago by RusWehrmacht)
Yes the trusty mausin naganat rifle, that rifle is not modelled on Mauser in any way, and has its own origniality, but borrows some designs from a Belguim designer (cnt remeber his name, not Mosses Browining i think). Very reliable can withstand harsh conditions no prob, it proved itself during 'Winter War', and has a much simpler bolt system. What more that rifle is the easist to zero (process of making sure your optic scope or sigths are amining towards where ur bullet goona fire.
Whats more it uses ... ( 6 months ago by RusWehrmacht)
Whats more it uses a basic internal magazine which hold five rounds. Fires 7.62x54mm Soviet calibre, has a rifling of 4 grooves and is bolt action turn bolt rifle.

ya but the m1 carbine is pretty cool too
well i dont know ... ( 6 months ago by ralfisloved)
well i dont know but it looked like a m1 garand.....go on youtube and type in battle of the bulge and it in i think part 4 or 3 the guy will hae a garand and he pulls the bolt
Maybe he does it ... ( 6 months ago by RusWehrmacht)
Maybe he does it once to cock the weapon after having eject a fresh 'tied up' 8 rounds.
Mosin Nagant is ... ( 5 months ago by OzymandiasD)
Mosin Nagant is without a doubt one of the finest bolt action rifles ever made, up there with the Lee Enfield and the Mauser series.
I prefer the Mauser myself, though I just purchased and M44
Yep Mauser Kar98k ( ... ( 5 months ago by RusWehrmacht)
Yep Mauser Kar98k (or giwhr 98 original), is more pwoerfull and more accurate then Mausin Nagant, but if youin a battlefield you d better stick to Mausin Nagant for more chances of survival.
