I have a highly upgraded Tokyo Marui Vsr-10 Pro. I had to sell part of my soul to upgrade it. Heavier bb's go further depending on the rifle. It is just like adjusting your hop up. You keep trying different weight bb's. More kinetic energy is behind a heavier bb, therefore more range. A wally world gun will lug heavy bb's two feet, but an upgraded gun will carry it further than a lighter bb. I would figure in your 8 years in playing airsoft you would have realized that...

Well to bad ive only played for 3, and no, the heavier bb's regardless, the less range. You should know this having a sniper. More weight= better accuracy, less weight= range. So what , do you adjust your hopup so the BB's go higher than a jumbo jet to out range a paintballgun? What upgrades are you your VSR 10 that allow you to do this? I personally have a CA M15A4 with PDI 190% spring, Systema gears, Guarder Polycarb Piston, and Systema cylinder.

Nice set up you got there. But, once again, I must state that you are wrong about heavier bb's. My upgrades include EdGI 6.00mm tightbore inner barrel, metal spring guide, Laylax 170 spring, zero trigger with orange piston, and I am shooting .36's. My rifle shoots further with the .36's than .20's. The kinetic energy behind the heavier bb sends it further. Take this example, throw a pingpong ball as hard as you can, then throw a tennis ball as hard as you can. The tennis ball goes further.

Not to bad of a setup yourself. But I don't think this is gonna go anywhere 0.o. Every gun I have shot, shoots farther with lighter BB's. We should just end this, I don't think either of us are going to give up our opinions.

Haha probably not, but do you see my point? The pingpong ball and tennis ball are perfect examples of how kinetic energy works. The more weight behind the object pushes through wind better. It may be different with AEG's, but I think the concept still stands. This is a common misconception by many people. Let's say this, with a lower end gun, lighter bb's will go further because they lack the power to push the heavy bb, but higher end guns shoot heavy further than light.
