i got it, its too late now though, i dropped the nagants and went with a yugo military new m48 mauser, i had some nra pros push me in that direction. ill buy one eventually though, after i buy my remington 700 tactical.

Cool vid. Not many people know about the Jet Effect. It shoots holes (ha ha, good pun eh?) in the movie JFK where Stone tries to persuade you to believe it was a conspiracy. People have a hard time believing someone so big and popular could be killed by a nobody acting alone.

The 91.30 is very loud, but not like the M44. Also the 91.30 generally doesnt muzzle flash, because of the longer barrel.

Yes, up to a certain length, a long barrel causes higher velocity of the bullet, which can make it more accurate at long ranges.

That is true with black powder rilfes, not smokeless powder, IF the proper powder is used.
Smokeless powder actually gains barrel presure as the bullet reaches the end of the barrel.

if you use this for deer hunting i suggest getting the hollow point round if you can find them. The full meteal jackets are a little over kill for deer hunting.

for the real deal try kalinka opitics. all their stuff is nice but pricy. there is also a picatinny mount you can buy that replaces the front sight and then you can attach any type of scope

you can reaload a 54r case with a .308 slug. its possible but my personal results were mixed. 308 are usually are 125 grain when the light ball for mosins in the 160 to 170 grains
