| Where the fuck have I been? Right here making you look foolish. Gas prices were high recently but you had the ability to PURCHASE it unlike in carters term when half of the time you couldnt even purchase gas. Paying high prices is better than not evening being able to buy the fucking gas. |

Nixon initiated the crisis by imposing price controls on domestic oil, which helped cause the shortages that led to gasoline lines. Carter did little to help, but he did allow for phased deregulation and removal of price controls. Policies that were supported and continued by Ronald Regan. |

| As a liberal from MA, I have always been a Ted Kennedy suporter. Yeah, he's far from perfect and has made some pretty bad mistakes, but like John McCain, he can actually cross the isle in the Senate and get stuff done. Trust me, I would want neither Kennedy or McCain in the White House, not because they aren't qualified, but because they are too important to the legislative branch of our government. That's what I think anyways. |
