your screwed in the head..lol..Industrial began with Throbbing Gristle in 1975 lead by Genesis P. Orridge. Get your head wired right if your going to talk about stuff like this.

Well, at that right you could say it started with the start of metal - Zeppelin, Sabbath, Deep Purple etc. I vaguely remember Throbbing Gristle. I'll check it out.

What a laugh? Killing Joke, RICH? You don't know much about the record industry. They've never had major label support, and probably don't make much over their costs for each album. And FYI, the reason they stand around on stage is because they're concentrating on playing, not jumping around like a bunch of retards. Not to mention the fact they're all around 50 years old. KJ is hardly washed up. Their latest album is more vital than stuff they did 15-20 years ago.

Actually Cabaret Voltaire probably provided an earlier template of "Industrial" than TG, having formed a few years before them.

Big Paul hasn't played with KJ since around 1987. He has however joined forces with them in 2008 for their original line up tour. I've got tickets to see them on both nights at the forum - woohoo! Can't wait! Very sad that Paul Raven couldn't be there too though :-( Raven = inspirational bassist and sadly missed.
Oh, this clip shows Geordie NOT playing his tradmark Gibson ES295???? Wonder why that was?

He mentionned in an interview he recorded some tracks on the Pandemonium album using his old Les Paul (bought by his mum :D). On live shows around this era, he's seen taking the Les Paul on Millenium and Exorcism, I think.
Personnaly, I think the sound comes from this man's hands. And the fires of heaven !
