you take apart the gun drill a hole in the barrel but a specific part then just stretch to make it more powerful and give it more distance

Take out the air restrictor. In order to do that, you have to take the gun apart and tinker with certain parts... look up "Nerf Recon CS-6 Mod" on the search and you'll get plenty of videos of people who modified their nerf guns like Wes.
