A Live performance of George Harrison's "Beware of Darkness" from a 1971 benefit performance for UNICEF called "Concert for Bangladesh". It was the first fundraising concert of this kind. The other singer is Leon Russell. The concert also included Eric, Ringo, Billy Preston, Klaus Voorman, Jesse Ed Davis and others

I remember I got my first blow job in my '66 Chevy at the drive in movies when this song was playing. Let me tell you this, I came like a bucket full of silver dollars, not once, but twice! I couldn't kiss Donna during the movie or when I took her home but I put it to her real good in the back seat during the intermission. She was a screamer. I lost track of her but saw her at our class reunion in '98. We never had the heart to speak with each other, but I popped a boner for her a few times!!!

My dad took me to this concert movie in 1974, in Durban, South Africa. I was 10 years old then. He knew I loved the Beatles and everyting connected.

This is the performance that--IF there was any justice in the world--would have made Leon a household name in mainstream R&R. Instead, he is almost a hidden gem for TRUE fans of rock, blues and jazz.
And that may be a good thing after all.
