considering the context this is a huge insult for pigs. forget all racist thinking and you will notice that animals and humans are all the same, what separates us is intelligence and their lack of language. in fact I guess pigs suffer a lot from humans... just for example

What a quality song. The video really adds to it as well, matches the dark urban dystopian feel. Along with the full version of Stay Together, definitely my favourite Suede song.

Great video, one of my fav suede song.
The connection "red flag in the vid"/"pigs in the lyric" make me think of Orwell's Animal Farm...and the connection between "pigs" and the children singing in the end remind me of Golding's Lord of Flies. Oh, it's only my personal point of view.
