He was not a all fond of technology.
In 1945 Germany wasn't even able to manufacture a jet engine without troubles. The engines of the arado and 262 were troublesome and the ME163 was a deathrap. The next generation was even worst, the Salamander was a wooden deathtrap and the HOIX was unstable (gotha was redrawing the airplane) and the natter was suicidal.
So how could germany manufacture an aircraft futuristic even by today's standard with a nation wide collapse such they had in 1945 if they weren't even able to manufacture a reliable jet engine for the 262?
Check your sources, check THEIR sources (which are circular) and read books.
Then use a tiny drop of logic and tell me if this is possible... It is not, ok?

As for patent, they did take away scientists, but mind you, they weren't that far behind, the big technological boost came just AFTER the war whn allied/soviet scientist coupled their stuff with german researches.
German metallurgy was awful during war, couldn't make reliable jet engines because of that, chemistry, explain why to me, wasn't lagging, but not ahead.
