NEVER sold out to special interest groups, PAC's, or lobbyists (he throws them out of his office).
ALWAYS voted to limit the power of Federal government.
NEVER voted for an unbalanced budget.
NEVER voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
NEVER voted to raise congressional pay.
Now, all of this, IMO, represents a "politican" that deserves to be HONORED!
You have listed ... ( 1 year ago by TAMARLANE)
You have listed many reasons here why Dr. Paul will/can never make it to the ballot. At least I would think Duncan Hunter might make it to the cabinet of the next president. He would be a valuable addition as an adviser on certain topics.
Just curious. If Dr. Paul were successful in switching us over to the gold standard, what would he use to buy the gold? Fiat money?
I agree with ... ( 1 year ago by joekidd33)
I agree with EVERYTHING that you've just written. I cannot STAND when people say crap like "I would vote for him but he's unelectable" or "I wanna vote for a winner". People who say stuff like this obviousl do not think hard on their position- otherwise they would recognize what's wrong with those statemtns.
Bullshit! In fact, ... ( 1 year ago by AmericanPatriot2008)
Bullshit! In fact, that is the biggest load of bullshit I have read on here in some time.
Lyndon Baines Johnson got Congress and the American people to go along with him by telling them a complete pack of lies. So did Richard Nixon. So did George W. Bush.
Are you calling these three dickheads "great leaders of men"? You CANNOT BE SERIOUS MAN!
Oh, I get it. You ... ( 1 year ago by AmericanPatriot2008)
Oh, I get it. You completely avoid the question by asking another one that has no connection to the one that I asked you in the first place.
You can make a response to the actual question I asked you, or I can do as you do, and answer your question with one bearing no relation to the subject you raised.
So my answer to your question is...
What is the square root of 6,911,532?
The anarchists are ... ( 1 year ago by AmericanPatriot2008)
The anarchists are in power in Washington. Anarchy is defined as "a state of lawlessness."
A state of lawlessness is a perfectly adequate description of Washington, D.C today.
Your comments are ... ( 1 year ago by AmericanPatriot2008)
Your comments are being suppressed here? Certainly not.
As anyone can see by glancing the comments, I have given you free reign to mouth off as much baloney as you like.
I believe you need catharsis. Believe me, that amount of baloney is better out than in.
I do not wish to share responsibility for a fellow citizen being poisoned by retaining such highly dangerous levels of their own baloney!

"You can't fight city hall. Ever hear that?"
Hey, I heard it. It was bullshit then, and it's bullshit NOW pal!

Absolutely correct.
Neither has a ghost of a chance.
But , both will have SOME impact.
That is a good thing.

Okay, tamarlane. Now, can you tell me then, which candidates DO have a chance and can you also tell us why?
Yes, you're right. ... ( 1 year ago by AmericanPatriot2008)
Yes, you're right. All those crooked sons of bitches in Washington that people complain about are the same bums they voted for in the first place, although Diebold is now making that less necessary for these self-serving Washington pigs.

Hmmm. OK I'll help keep you goin'.
At this point I think the final 4 will be probably be Clinton, Obama, Giuliani, and Romney.
It is because of their money, the media, and the general perceptions, right or wrong, of the American people, most of whom don't waste their time on the internet, on Youtube.

"It is because of their money, the media, and the general perceptions, right or wrong, of the American people, most of whom don't waste their time on the internet, on Youtube."
Agreed, but Dr. Paul's fundraising is outstripping many of theirs, and he is rising CONSISTENTLY even in the BIASED polls.
I think you have ... ( 1 year ago by AmericanPatriot2008)
I think you have seriously underestimated both the strength of his campaign and the level of disgust with politics as usual. Also, for the mass of Americans you mention, it's just another election cycle. For RP supporters, it means the life or death of the Constitution and the Republic. They will turn out come hurricanes or heatwaves.
Diebold doesn't ... ( 1 year ago by TAMARLANE)
Diebold doesn't really worry me much. I think it will be conducted honestly and above board as far as the machines are concerned. I like the old scanners better, with a hard copy audit trail. But the real problem with voting is the corruption with the voters themselves.
Voting more than one, dead people and cats voting, and paid voters. Mostly democrats.
Our economy ... ( 1 year ago by fearonism)
Our economy operates like someone who has maxed out all their cards, lines of credit and works overtime to pay off the bills. The problem is the overtime puts him into a higher tax bracket and he loses 40% of his overtime hours value because of taxes. Is that a sane household? This person whos maxed out has ALSO borrowed all the savings from his mom, dad and in laws savings? Not only is he broke but his elders arent yet aware that they are too.
Lastly this guy is ... ( 1 year ago by fearonism)
Lastly this guy is also borrowed from a loan shark (China) who he knows is buying guns to pay him a visit if he doesnt pay up.
IF YOU LIKE HOW THIS FICTIONAL GUY RUNS HIS FINANCES THEN VOTE FOR HUCK, GIULIANI, ROMNEY OR ANY OF THE DEMS.
ciao

The knowledge of his man simply astounds me. If it was a toss-up between Ron Paul and Obama, I would have gone for Ron without batting an eyelid.
