Here is Buzzy Feiten's solo in the song Physical from Olivia Newton John's 1982 live concert video. A real good concert as a whole with Tom Scott putting a great band together, I wish Buzz played more solos though rather than Mike Landau. Not sure why that was?

the Bonnie B tape is amazing-opens with a SBD backing track?-sounds like a Telecaster-with no effects whatsoever..one of the best things we have on Buzz..

The Neil Larsen tour with Buzz on guitar in 1979. There is a great show from the Rainbow in Boulder CO. Some great playing all around even if Buzz's echoplex get away from him every once in a while. Live Larsen Feiten stuff also.

I went to that concert... I didn't hear the audience complaining. Olivia just had a #1 (for 10 weeks straight) hit song under her belt, "Physical".. and this tour was to promote it. Of course she was getting "Physical" on stage..by exercising and promoting health and staying fit. She didn't turn it into a sex-fest (like Britney Spears..or any girl now would have done). She was sexy, hot, and classy..on that stage. Yup, I'm glad I bought a ticket!!

This is an excerpt from a Laserdic of the whole concert. The show is actually very, very good. The band is hand picked by Tom Scott with Michael Landau along with Feiten. The band is great and Olivia does a great job all the way through. This was a show that had a lot of "visuals" such as dancing etc to go along with the songs. It's not my kind of music and I am only there because Feiten was in the band, but the whole show is very good, if you like that kind of music.

C'mon. If you come in at this juncture of the song, you just gotta laugh at this douchebag. Taken out of context, it isn't a very flattering portrait of her. I was almost ROTFLMAO at some of her moves.
I'm sure it was a great show but the clip is more hilarious than sexy.

I had this on video a while back and I can no longer find it. :( This particular track stood out on the gig because Micheal Landau does the first solo then Buzz takes over and then the bass plays some shit hot slap whilst doing the can can with Olivia. Love it!! 80's stage show but it was great then and the music still is today.

It is only available on Laserdisc. I was pretty anoyed because Buzz only got one solo and Landau took all the rest which I could never figure out. Landau is a generic LA session guy to me and Feiten is a true original. What was the deal Tom Scott?

Yea, this is out of contex though. The whole show is 90 min long, and it is a great musical show if you can by the ONJ aspect. It was Tom Scott's band, great players. The real bizarro thing is that Feiten only got one solo the whole night and Landau took all the rest, which to me makes no sense. Landau is very ordinary to my ears.

Landau is an LA session guy, very dry and predictable to my ears. You have to hand it to Buzz, he scored some high profile and presumably lucrative gigs-and only had to solo rarely. Not a bad gig.
