We weren't quite THAT lucky, but Nelson kicked her ass in '06, and she's dead meat now as a politician. She'll never be anything more than a joke for standup comics or a Trivial Pursuit answer. Not as good as her perishing, but I can still enjoy it.

I think it is interesting how Laura Dern played herself, while supposedly playing Katherine Harris. I didn't know Laura was such a dizzy blond!! She sure is a horrible actress!! Do you think they will get her to play Janet Reno in "Waco-the real story of the Clinton presidency"? I think she would play a wonderful ditzy Janet Reno!! Frankly, I don't know who she was playing, but it certainly was not Katherine Harris. Kathrine Harris makes whoever that character Larua Dern is playing look like an idiot. I am not a Harris fan, but if your going to lend credibility to the movie, don't mischarictarize the person you are impersonating. The whole movie only expresses the viewpoint of the left and Gore. So it is pretty easy to dismiss.
