if the rifle has a 16inch barrel or longer and is not fullyauto then it is legal to have. there is other ways that you can have a rifle smaller then 16inch, the reacever must be a pistol stamped reacever and it can't have a buttstock on it .

If you get something, get a sig 556 swat. Take down is almost as simple as an AK. Its much more reliable then an ar, and its almost the same accuracy.

Very good presentation. I would also let the viewers know that (in addition to using cleaning rod sections) using a standard 5.56 ball round can help to push out the take down pins, pry out the firing pin retaining pin, pry off the floor plate of a magazine or even adjust sights on some models. Great job.

thats because it uses a gas piston system instead of a gas blowback system which is much more cleaner and efficient. bushmaster makes AR's with it. I've never disassembled a sig 556 though.
