don't know whay they cancelled it. the XM8 is more powerful, more accurate and slightly cheaper than the M16. It weighs quite a bit, but so what? just a better gun really.

M16 sucks, get out of the games people.
M16 jams too much and it cannot shoot in alot of terrains. The only good thing is that it can go up to 300yards.

This is true about Colt. But the contract was coming to an end. Im not sure how the whole test went. What I heard was mearly Scuttle Butt (Rumors). Yes, they both use 30rd mags.
