I know you wont post this comment either but you shouldnt tell people about using a splitting maul. I have split more wood that the small so called ten ton splitter wouldnt be able to touch.
I have lived in Northern MN my entire life and have dealt with wood heating for many years.
I used to sell firewood also and we had a splitter that my dad and I built with a thirty ton push.
I still use an 8# splitting maul and have split many seasons of cord wood with this tool. Way more than you will
