I don't get your point of view. I personally make differences between the best airplanes in terms of achievements and the best planes in terms of performance. You have to admit that Italian designs like the G-55, Re-2005 and MC-205 were up to their German, American and British counterparts. Please note that I'm refering to their potential, not their achievements. Speaking of achievements these Italian planes did virtually nothing compared to the others.
