Our Place in the Universe - Carl Sagan

Video Description:
A look at our place in the Universe. An edited version, taken from the award winning TV series "Cosmos", by American Astronomer, Carl Sagan.
Here we look at our place in the Universe, and find that we are in no way, the center of our Universe, ...we are not even the center of our own galaxy, the Milky Way;....nor our own solar system.
It is only a delusion, to kid ourselves that the stars rise and set for us. That we are the reason there is a Universe.
I believe Carl Sagan said it best when he says "The Universe is not suppose to be in perfect harmony with human ambition."
Carl Edward Sagan was an American astronomer and astrochemist and a highly successful popularizer of astronomy, astrophysics, and other natural sciences. He is world-famous for writing popular science books and for co-writing and presenting the award-winning 1980 television series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, which has been seen by more than 600 million people in over 60 countries, making it the most widely watched PBS program in history.

So of coarse ever since humans have walked the earth, they have not evolved. But we are the evolved products of the ones before us called Neanderthals. Have you ever seen a Neanderthal skull? Maybe you should take a look some time.
How do you know all of this? If you were to talk to any African or Indian tribe they would all tell you stories of tree gods and sun gods. The bible is such a load of crap. It was clearly written by man at a time where the only way people could know anything about the universe was to take wild guesses and believe in things like....gods.
And yes, we have been seeing a regular progression in brain size. We have also been seeing a regular progression in lifespan (unless you count the US where 90% of the people gorge on unhealthy foods and become obese).
I only wish there were more people like Carl Sagan in this universe.
It's staggering. Wish I could've met him.
