If you are a Genuine Conservative my friend you understand what weve had for the past 8 years is anything but Genuine COnservatism. Military adventures, war and iperialism, interventionism, corporate bailouts to the tune of $700billion, Federal government Scoolh and the NO child left behind act, The increase in Federal Power with the "patriot act", deficit spending, borrowing, 1 trillion dollar prescription drug bill, has nothing to do with conservatism. Its not even about Left vs right anymore. The political cattegories mean nothing anymore. Most people in the republican party know nothing of honest CONSERVATISM. TO them conservatism means WAR. If you dont support war youre not a conservative. They are not COnservatives they are military fanatics. People nned to look the word "conservative" up. IF those who call themselves "conservatives" would acually read a book and learn what CONSERVATIVES have actually stood for throught history, Bush wouldnt of been elected and Obama wouldnt be President today. Keep in mind the mindset and philosophy of America back then to now! I am sure if Jefferson would of saw this that that statement would be irrelevent! Today's society will have party's b/c no one will ever come to agreement on much of anything anymore. Which is why I lean to the right b/c they are closer to what this country was built on, my opinion. Lower taxes, increase capital punishemnt, remove welfare, build more jails, and make the 2nd Amendment untouchable!!!

Left vs right? What does it mean anymore? I agree that the government handouts need to be abolished. SO why not STOP shipping our jobs overseas in the name of "free trade" and leaving people in the WELFARE LINE collecting unemployment benefits? I f the minimum wage was something like $10 an hour, the people on welfare would actually have an INCENTICVE to get off. You can't hate government programs while at the same time supporting actions that Increase them.
