Founded in June 2004, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) is a nonprofit, non-partisan veterans' education and advocacy organization. The first and largest Iraq and Afghanistan veterans group in America, IAVA has thousands of active member veterans and more than 62,000 grassroots supporters nationwide.
IAVA's mission is to improve the lives of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families.
IAVA addresses critical issues facing new veterans and their families, including mental health, Traumatic Brain Injury, a stretched VA system, inadequate health coverage for national guardsmen and reservists, and outdated GI Bill educational benefits.
IAVA is dedicated to educating the public about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, advocating on behalf of those who have served, and fostering a community for troops, veterans, and their families.

| Georgia 1st Congressional District Democratic candidate Bill Gillespie and State Party Chair Jane Kidd were in Savannah early last week fighting for vet benefit increases and challenging Republican John McCain's lack of support on veteran issues. Way to go Jane and Bill, our troops need all the help we they can get. Its time to start taking care of our veterans when they come back and provide them the educational opportunities and medical care they deserve. |

| When Nawaz Sharif offered himself for a table talk & solution of problem relating to the US President & Taliban Bush bluntly refused saying that Nawaz Sharif is unaware of the underground facts. Now the US President is after him to get them out of the marsh US seems to have fallen in. UNO & British General said that here they cant win if a war is fought. Hikmat Yar says USA is about to abort Afghanistan. Whats interesting is that now Nawaz Sharif knows the underground facts more than USA. |

| Dictators are implemented discouraging democracy. USA has been in Afghanistan now for above 7yrs. But hasn't gained a grass plot even. Eventually the US general insists on table talk with Taliban to solve the issue US is after as they seem to have lost the war. USA is trying speedily for its expensive soldiers' return & hire cheap waged soldiers denoting that US has lost its status of a Super Power. Bush must eat poison and die rather than see USA defeated in war against Afghanistan. |
