The horses are the exact same race as the "viking-horses". Today it´s called the "icelandic-horserace". It´s a small but very powerfull horse who can stand against the nordic winter. The horses in the vikingage were very small compared to modern horses. Again one of the Hoolywood cliches with the "Conan-looking" viking with horns in ihs helmet on this big modern horse. But it has nothing to do with reallity :-)

Thats okay! The measures are very different but it´s between 1,50-1,75 meters... Make a google search on "icelandic horse"

hinschwarte I dont know if I agree with you on the horse matter, because the icelandic horse was imported, and not the horse most used in the vikingage. We also had the great jutland horse, which there is only few left of, they were really big and strong horses! They were used for farming and transporting runestones! But anyway great video. I like it very much, even with icelandic horses!
