I don't get it. Do you experience recoil or something? What's the point. I mean, a pistol without blowback looks like a silly toy, but what difference does it make on a gun like that?

Do you even airsoft? YES, you do feel some kick with the bolt moving, but for actual military forces or police who train with less than lethal weapons (paintball and airsoft) realistic operation (including blowback and field stripping, respectively) are required for the full experience.

Yeah, I airsoft. I'm also a hobbyist target shooter with real firearms. And I think you're full of shit. I don't believe that gun provides a kick significant enough to make a difference. Even a gas blowback pistol made of steel falls short of a .22's recoil. But at least with a pistol I can see how it's a necessary aspect to get the full experience, and it does provide some measure of recoil. That gun there is a novelty. Kind of neat to look at, but it provides nothing of substance.
