You fools. the 25mm fires depleted uranium shells. These are 99.9% of the time fired with a brass jacket round or a tungsten round.

the drum doesn't hold any rounds. the rounds are stored in the grey canister beneath the gun itself. the white drum is a set of tracking radars. it can track and classify it's own targets and shoot them down before they reach the ship.
