I'm not really a liberal, but it IS contradictory to basically say "Let's pray to God while we kill people." I did not know the history of the song, nor see the relevance of it to my previous comment. Don't get me wrong, I respect the troops and wish them the best, but all I said was that this song contradicts itself.

My Dad was in WWII and when I was a kid and I am 44 now I heard him sing this song he was in the Battle for Bougainville in the south pacific Solomon Islands and he was on Guadalcanal too he was in the USMC 3rd defense battalion 90mm antiaircraft gunner the song should not be associated with this in my opinion.

Looking at the electoral map its pretty clear that the less educated parts of the country vote for Republicans, and the educated, urban parts of the population vote Democrat.

I would hardly consider this an accurate representation of the voting results. It is far more complicated than simply urban vs. rural. The popular vote was very close. Slightly less than half of the country voted republican despite the appealing liberal philosophy of "soaking the rich". The electoral vote (as was the case with the Bush/Gore election) was what won the election. I am commenting on the foolish message portrayed in this video and how such blatent unwarranted hate is "uneducated".

I think it goes without saying that George Bush was the worst President that this country has had since Herbert Hoover. He and his administration have worked to undermine personal liberties, let corporate America run wild at the expense of the Middle Class, start wars without thinking through how he was going to fight them and finish them.

If the neo-cons wanted to invade Iraq why didn't they think through how they were going to do it? Or what their exit strategy would be? Iraq was a completely crippled state in 2003. It has been decisevly proven that Iraq had disconontiuned its program to obtain weapons of mass destruction. All America achieved was destroying the one secular nation in the Middle East, by destroying Iraq's Middle Class. If the goal was to spread democracy why not focus on Jordan, or Kuwait?
