Stelexus I think it's fair to say that if the USA did not help, Britian would be gone. But so could the USA. That's something we dont think about. If we did not join they could of defeted Britian and came to the USA.

I was in Arromanches on Aug 14, following in the footsteps of my grandfather on D Day. I also visited the US landings at Utah, Omaha, Ste Mer Eglise and the US cemetary at Omaha. My wife's comment was " how can the Germans show their faces after causing the deaths of all these young men"? It Doesn't matter the nationality of the allied forces whom lets face it, payed the ultimate sacrifice, light a candle for the young men who gave their life for our future. God rest their souls. bushmen is right U.S.A have the money to make all these films and britain dont bover with it,british forces were the reason britain are still here today not the americans,they make these stupid films up and take credit for what britain did in the war and they did not save us at all they just sent some troops to help us with some supplys aswell,these hollywood companies disrespect what our country did in the war and other ones,and U.S.A arnt as great as they they think they are.GOD SAVE THE QUEEN

By most accounts each of our countries lost around 450,000 people in the war. Just troops and supplies? Do some research and at least give some credit where it's due.

Germany were balamed because they were the most powerful country in the central powers during the war, and Germany played a bigger role in ww1 than austria, so the allies believed that Germany caused the most truble so they should be punshied

Even though Canada is independent from england,you guys are still our countries fathers. im glad to see footage of canadians and british soilders. I agree. the americans brag too much and treat the other countries who fought just as hard like crap. Canadians,British,and allied troops fought just as hard as the americans.
