Bueno, creo que tal vez "trágico" es hipérbole de mi parte, es solo que como maestro de sociología veo el lado negativo, es decir, el hecho de que la llorona es solo un ejemplo de cómo nuestra sociedad es tan dada al rumor, tal vez tú ni te acuerdes pues veo que eres muy jóven, pero cuando las noticias de televisa eran dadas por Jacobo Zabludovski, la gente te decia "yo lo vi con Jacobo" y te juraban por su vida aún y cuando yo les decía: yo tambien ví las noticias..

...y no escuché lo que tú dices"... mira, déjame darte un ejemplo de el rumor y sus efectos, en el año 1998 como parte de un experimento en mis clases en la universidad les dije a mis alumnos (dos salones en ese entonces, unos 70 alumnos) "muchachos mañana la gasolina va a aumentar un peso cincuenta centavos por litro, así que llenen el tanque hoy" era mentira por supuesto, ese dia en la noche las supercolas en las gasolineras para llenar el tanque...

Hubiera sido mucha coincidencia que otra persona hubiera decidido ese mismo dia regar el mismo rumor, y bueno, si piensas que 70 alumnos por lo menos conocen a 2 personas con auto, y esas personas a otras tantas, en solo unas horas se puede regar el rumor en media ciudad, mas que nada a eso me referia con lo de la llorona, el chupacabras, etc, y tienes razón, los gringos tambien tienen lo suyo, bueno esto ya lo hice muy largo, me despido y bendiciones!!

Interesantisimo punto el que demuestras, pero considero q es distinto establecer bases sociopoliticas a lo que intento explicar como bases culturales que son transmitidas a traves de la lengua. Se encuentran entrelazadas pero incluso ahi podemos distinguirlas mi punto y el tuyo. es distinto el ejempolo de Zabludovsky, y lo que yo remarque en mi comentario, los mecanismos de la cultura para enseñarte a temer son diversos y entre sus aplicaciones practicas se encuentran los mitos y leyendas

... (continua, part 2)Tales como la llorona, son necesarias para hacer al humano humanizado dentro de la cultura. De ahí a este fenomeno que describes perfectamente existe un distanciamiento porque el humano es inteligente, pero la masa es tonta. No estoy deacuerdo en este sentido negativo acerca de la llorona porque son aspectos impresindibles en el desarrollo subjetivo del sujeto.
Eso tengo q decir, ojala postees de vuelta... saludillos....

Me da mucho gusto poder escuchar a alguien que pueda hablar un buen castellano. En estos tiempos ya todos se han olvidado de el o si no hablan "spanglish" y vulgaderias.
