You are a person who doesnt know their history that much. He wasnt a nazi, but Hitler was his boss, but you hardly know that much so its going to take explainings here.
My people were "forced" to work under hitler and Rommel did work under him, but was against him. Even the allies thought of Rommel
as a good man and he treated everyone with respect and thought what hitler thought was wrong. In the end Hitler blamed him for the assasination plot planned againsthim. Go learn your history.

Wel, you live with your romantic version of Rommel,he was a nazi,he was,nt a nazi?i think he certainly was. he chose suicide,maybe he was a coward!how was he "forced"? Im offended when someone says Rommel ist a nazi because he isn't and he never killed anybody. People nowadays even in Amerika
are nothing and do not know their own history,
but there are very few that do and are smart enough about it. If you wouldve have known
who Rommel was people know one would have marked me down. A nazi is a person loyal and part of the Gestapo and other.

I,m sorry you are so unhappy in your chosen country,it must be hard for you.Every country has its problems with terrorists these days,i think you will find that germany has problems too.You should also respect other peoples view,and not call them stupid because they disagree with yours,its immature.I know my history,i have lived in Germany,the usa and britain.The war was a long time ago and people forget.People move on,thats what you need to do and stop yearning for things that are out of reach.

they dont care anymore. History repeats
itself and we must learn from those lessons, but no one cares anymore nowadays. This generation is so godamn spoiled and lazy they wouldnt know a real threat to their nation unless it interrupted the powercord to their Xbox and killed a half amillion people!

Just saying Rommel was a general does make him not a nazi. with that said you are right, Rommel wasn't a Nazi. He was forced to kill himself because Hitler discovered he was plotting against him. He was against the assassination of Hitler and for arresting and putting him on trial. And when you say he never killed anyone are you reffering to those killed in the final solution or just of killing anybody? Because he died cause the deaths of thousands of Americans and British forces in North Africa

Rommel was never a murderer, he was a great man and father to his little family and he
was offered to help in the plot, but refused
because he knew a "dead" Hitler was worse than a live one and stood out. Meanwhile
later on a British airplane hit his staff car
and almost didnt make it, but survived with injuries. Since he had confronted Hitler that our people were going to lose Hitler refused to take that in and also lost his trust in Rommel. Learn some history people, its important to.

I didn't mean he caused the deaths as a murderer. I mean yea he caused deaths b/c he was a general and that's what they do, plan attacks. That doesn't make him a bad person though, it makes him a good general. And yea he refused b/c he knew it would only turn Hitler into a Martyr. Hitler had 2 generals offer him suicide w/ full military honors and protection for his family or he would have to go before a military tribunal.
